What Tucker failed to mention is the amount of groceries he bought is 50% more than the average Russians weekly salary

How is this hard to get for people? In Russia, the average yearly salary is about 15k. If four people got groceries for a week and it came out to $100, that would be about $25 per person for the week to survive. You cannot get one meal for that in most places in the US. Even if it was $100 per week, still cannot get that here. And as for their salary... They do not make 50k a year because they do not need it. They are taken care of, for the most part, by their government. They TRUST their government to take care of them. They make plenty enough to survive on the average income. And their homelessness went down 82% from 2010 to 2021. Ours went up 12% in the last year. His whole point was that they make enough to take care of themselves and they do not have insane inflation right now, which the biden administration are trying to tell you isnt just in America. But it is. You can think what you want about Russia, but all of our American beliefs about the country are programmed by the government from birth. Do your own research, and you will see that they are actually doing well, have been for a while, and have been trying to HELP US, but America is too stupid to accept it. We keep turning our backs on Putin. And now that he got fed up, we want to act like he is horrible. He isn't. He is even trying to broker peace over there and AMERICA is the reason the war is still on-going. Stop trying to defend American prices, wages and government. It is sh*t. And if you think 'Bidenomics' are working, the you should slap yourself real hard and wake tf up.

The answer to: “How much did all this food cost in Russia?”
Is:”What is the average household income?”
Divide that by the top number, do the same for the US and then show the results

😂 My salary in 2008-2009 in Belarus was $100 per month. Don’t forget that salary is very differ from the salary in the USA!

That's like going to Thailand and being surprised things are cheaper there.

40% of your salary on food! Sounds like a good deal. It’s not like living indoors is ideal in the tundra

People who think this is cheap because Russia is some economic god who cares for their people are nuts. If you go to a county where the income is low everything tends to be cheaper because labour is cheaper. Are you amazed that things in third world countries are generally cheaper?

As a Russian living in the oil city of Surgut, working in the IT field, I can only say one thing. The prices for us are not small, a logical comparison would be to take a primary school teacher from some Virginia and send her to us with her monthly salary, and send a teacher from the city of Syzran to the states. And compare who can buy how much with their salaries

I spend on average $250 a week on groceries and that's for a household of one. Now, it was $125 a week until everything suddenly doubled in the last few years. It's too much. The rent has literally tripled from $550 to $1550 in the last 10 years. However, my income has neither doubled or tripled.

In US rent now is about 2500usd for rent per month, 30k a year, for 40k-50k average income. It is more than 50%.
But in RF you pay 100 bucks per month for your apartment and earn 1k, it is 10%
