The History of Female Astronauts

World Space Week's theme for 2021 is 'Women in Space' and to celebrate this, we at AOP have decided to make a video honoring the 69 incredible female astronauts that have explored space!

Great video! Worth remembering also Judith Resnik and Christa McAuliffe who perished in the 1986 Challenger disaster. Although they did not make it into space, they were meant to join this prestigious list as they did go through the same rigorous training and were de facto Astronauts like all the other ladies mentioned here.
