Fair play about the divot thing but if I could change one rule, it would be that the putter had to be the shortest club in the bag and that only your two hands could touch it during a stroke.

The problem with the divot idea is what constitutes a "divot"? Every blemish on every fairway would/could be considered a divot by a golfer and they'd be asking for rulings by the officials on nearly every hole. It would make an excruciatingly long game even longer. No way it will ever get approved

I have ALWAYS said that THANK YOU lol …. If I hit a good shot in play I should be able to hit my next shot off good grass or get a drop until I do. A divot is a temporary man made hazard that doesn’t have roots and isn’t a designed part of the fairway.
I agree with him 100%.
And I don’t even think we should have to drop actually just move it a couple inches to the nearest grass.
Anywho just my two cents on the subject :)
