Dinkins LOVED tennis and back in the 90's would come to our club RIRC and we (pros) would hit with him. He had a nice 3.5 game. He was a sweet and nice guy. Thoughts to his family.

The first mayor I really got to watch on television. He became mayor when I was 14 years old. Seeing Mr. Dinkins a Black man was a great inspiration to me as a kid growing up in East NY Brooklyn. He was such a man of great dignity and class. He will be missed. One of the great mayors of New York. I always wanted him to run again. One term was not enough. My prayers and condolences. R.I.P. Mr. Dinkins.
