We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and happy holidays!! We had so much fun checking out some estate sales today. The first one was pretty cleared out, but we found a dusty box of ephemera in the garage that they sold to us for only $3! The second sale of the day was so wild, just tiny statues and porcelain figurines everywhere we looked!! It was the first of it's kind of us and we hope you enjoy getting to see it all with us!

As always, thank you so much for watching and I hope you have a wonderful day! Happy diving and movin' on!

Howdy y'all! We had fun going to some estate sales today, these two literally couldn't be more different. The first one was almost entirely picked clean, but we did find a box of ephemera in the garage and a cute little glugger pitcher that reminded me of being a kid. The second sale was absolutely insane with hundreds (could it be thousands??) of statues and figurines! We've never seen anything like it and i'm so curious how their house was set up when it wasn't prepped for an estate sale. Definitely a cool one to browse and we hope you enjoy coming with us :) Happy Friday! We'll see you tomorrow!

The little fish you put on your sink and put your dish washing sponge in it. Frogs and fish are both over emphasized with the eyes and huge mouths.
They basically make you smile while doing a task most people hate.

Today was so funny! Your estate sale with the box of ephemera was someone I’ve known for probably 15-20 years. She ran a successful rescue for dogs and cats and I was one of the fosters…every weekend I would drop my foster babies off for adoption day, when I would go back to pick up the ones that weren’t adopted, I would cry all the way home for the ones that found a loving home! Happy and missing them tears. I did that for at least 15 years. The homeowners have retired and moved to Arizona. I almost didn’t recognize the house without the cats everywhere lol. They are great people and i wish them the best. Also the second house I’m pretty sure was in handly. You two are so fun to tag along with!

Sad, at least to me, that a persons life memories end up in a cardboard box in a garage for sale. I’m very glad you two found it and saved it. Have a merry and prosperous new year. You did a ever good job of posting every day.

What an amazing assortment of figurines. You got some great stuff. That beautiful closet is made of cedarwood to keep moths away. Much like the old cedar chests, often called hope. chests. I love that you appreciate things of the past. Refreshing. ❤ Keep up the hunt.

I just love that you and Alex love the history of old. Paper and moose loved history as well. It brakes my heart that there are so many young people just throwing it in the trash. Someone’s lifetime of memories. Pictures of their loved ones and mean nothing to them. Thank God there’s people like you saving it and keeping history alive. Blessings to you and yours. Sweet baby so adorable. 🥰

Wow that’s lots of stuff at those estate sales. I don’t go to them often and only get what I absolutely need. The glass sewing machine is cute.

The estates sales are so fun to go to!!! Isn’t it amazing what people collect? I love the clown pillow you got, that’s how I remembered clowns as a kid! When you were showing the ephemera from the box you purchased, I was thinking I have some old ephemera, too. I still have my high school notes, from chemistry, algebra, English, etc. I graduated in 1980. I have a old notebook back when I was in first grade, that shows a picture I drew with crayons of a cat. As a kid over the years, my mom would send my little stories I wrote in grade school to my sister, who lived in Nashville at the time. She made a album out of it and gave it to me later when I was adult. It’s neat to look back at that stuff now. I wrote most of the stories in cursive. My stories were mainly about our farm cats and dogs. This is my ephemera that I collected before I even knew what ephemera was! 🙂 Hi Bones!
