the little nub on the back of your "tire pressure reader" is for letting air out of the tires.

the proper air pressure for your vehicle is based on the vehicle not the tire max pressure. read the inside door jamb on the drivers door for the manufacturer's recommended tire pressure for your vehicles. to high of pressure will cause loose feeling in steering and too low can cause excessive heat buildup.

look in the door frame of the drivers door. their is a sticker that will tell you manufacture recommended tire pressure and sizes. all cars have it.

when I saw the knife I was about to click off but I didn't you are the man RESPECT💪 our TPMS scanner would not work but this did FACTS

If your impala does not have the button to relearn just hold the lock and unlock buttons on the car keys with the electric on until it beeps twice and gives the relearn message.

I also saw on another video, that the headlights & taillights will indicate which tire is next to deflate!

When you let pressure out, the back of the pressure tool is actually used to remove pressure, no need for a knife, check it out, you will thank me lol

Thank you for this I tried doing this myself managed to do the front two tires but when trying to do the rear it didn’t light the bulbs at the back - and when looked at the panel it had said press tick symbol to relearn the tires and it just seemed had timed out - but thank you again

Thanks for the information. Mine are reverse but I will fix that tomorrow while at lunch at work. I knew you let out the air on the tires, I just didn't know the order to do it in. ;)

so why do you let the air out if your just add some back in ? Does it reset the computer? I have a light on telling me to check my pressure will this fix it ?
