Re-programming TPMS sensors on a GM vehicle using El-50448 TPMS Re-Learn Tool (2019 Chevy Impala)
Показать описание
In this video, I use a basic Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) tool re-learn tool to re-program my TPMS in my 2019 Chevrolet Impala.
The TPMS re-learn tool I used is an Augocom EI-50448, though there are many identical looking ones out there.
Need to buy one?
For anyone else with a 2014-2020 Impala (likely very similar procedure for other GM vehicles), here is how to do a TPMS re-learn:
1) Enter diagnostics mode by holding the ignition start/stop button for 5 seconds (do not press the brake pedal)
2) Find the tire pressures page on the dash display
3) Hold down the ‘checkmark’ button on the steering wheel. The horn will sound twice
4) Go to the front left tire. Position the TPMS tool near the valve stem and hold the button until the horn beeps
5) Go to the front right tire, and do the same thing
6) Go to the rear right tire, and do the same thing
7) Go to the rear left tire, and do the same thing
8) The horn will double beep to indicate success. Turn off the ignition, start car, and you should be set!
Note that you may need to hold the button for a while... it took close to 30 seconds to pair the first TPMS sensor. Just hold the button until the car beeps at you at each wheel.
