About Dexter: New Blood: The original DEXTER series premiered in the fall of 2006 and starred Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, a complicated and conflicted blood-spatter expert for the Miami police department who moonlights as a serial killer. DEXTER: NEW BLOOD finds him living under an assumed name in the fictional small town of Iron Lake, New York, 10 years after his disappearance. Joining Hall is original DEXTER star Jennifer Carpenter as Dexter’s sister Deb in a new iteration. Jack Alcott stars as Dexter’s teenage son Harrison, who mysteriously returns to Dexter’s life after 10 years apart. It’s true ! I wasn’t sure how dexter could go on with Deb dead but the first episode was so perfect with Deb being his conscience in place of Harry. Can’t wait til next Sunday. I watched all 8 seasons through the summer so I would be completely in tune. Dexter is truly one of the greatest series of all time.

Deb and Dexter were a great combination, she was just as damaged as he was, but a very important piece of his life, that kept him from going completely over the cliff.
