Hey! For you probably won't survive you should add small sticky things that have a small amount of hp but when they touch you they stick to you for a few seconds and then detach.

Then I opened unity and placed some cubes for 1 hour
Finally I made a Scratch-esque game with a faint resemblance to minecraft in 10 minutes

The "1 day" challenge thing always seemed weird to me because is it just a single day where you worked 24 hours minus sleeping, eating etc. or do you mean 24 full hours of working? In the first case, 10 hours are more than 1 day for most people because they work 8 hours a day. For me it's like 2 days.

Free game development tutorials can be found for free at Shaun Spalding's channel. Including a 2D ARPG. The whole tutorial is only 20 hours long, although it will probably take your twice as long to get through them because you have to work alongside it and sometimes build a level yourself while he shows a sped up version, so that adds a bunch of minutes. It looks way more impressive than your 1 day game, but the tutorial game probably took him a hundred hours to make. It's so much easier to show what you've done and type the code in again than actually make it the first time.
