So if say i made a time machine and i decided to go back to the very beginning of everything to witness the big bang. And I'm met with nothingness, there's not a single particle or any explosion. So i set the time machine to return back to the present time. But the machine malfunctions, resulting in an explosion and initiating the big bang🤯

My take:
Each version of time travel or the timeline has a set "causal glue". If there is none, the timeline can easily split into grandfather paradoxes. If there is some, the timeline only splits if you do something that's directly contradictory to our timeline (like saving a assassinated figure / death of a famouns person). If there is maximum - you cannot change it at all. You would either fail to prevent things - or cause the thing in the first place.

Predestination is another form of bootstrap paradox:
A (car crash) > B (time travel) > C (back in time) > A (car crash).

That's just my take if Time Travel were to exist
