I'm really tired and judging by the picture I thought the title was the salad of Jethro Tull. Which, you have to admit, would also make for a fascinating book.

Hi Darren,
You really are a man after my own heart. It is Christmas for me. I am a huge Jethro Tull fan. Rejoicing in the reissues... everyone of them and now the book is on its way. I tried not to peek but could not help it. Mr. Anderson is doing everything right. A man I would love to meet and can listen to this man speak all day. If I can climb Mount Everest to give a shout out to Jethro Tull, Mr. Anderson, everyone at Chrysalis, EMI/Parlaphone and now Rocket 88 for the marvelous job in the box sets and now book.... I would. The book looks sumptuous. I heard in some of the pre-release reviews that there is a download of some new music that Mr. Anderson made (a poem with some music accompaniment 2 sides from the 7 inch vinyl that comes in the Signature Edition). Either way it is a coffee table book that will have its rightful place reserved for it.
God bless.
Keep at it... you are one the great personalities of this medium

Remember buying a tour program years ago then went to see them the following year only to find the only difference was the cover. I went back and argued with a bald headed bloke and eventually got my money back complete rip off I thought

Haa, I see my name is in the book too. However, I will have to wait for my copy because, in my home country, the postal service is on strike, hooray! Good if I get it sometime next year.

Ian is all in, yes balls and all. He offered a limited signed deluxe edition for about $300

If you don’t see your “featured performer” royalties coming in soon, you can sue Ian Anderson...

I think it's a nice enough looking book however like many artists these days they do seem to be charging the earth for them. £40 may seem alright for a book especially in relation to the new Genesis book that costs over £200 or even the book Jimmy Page put out for £50 that contains nothing but photos and does not even give you anything to read. I myself am not a bookworm although I do enjoy reading the Jethro Tull box sets but those give you a hell of lot more for the Buck and are not just a Book that will entertain you for an hour and then sit on a shelf gathering dust which is why I cannot see where there is any real value or point in a book costing such a ridiculous price in the first place. This book should not cost any more than £20 and even at that price I would still be looking to get it at a cheaper discount. My music media takes up enough space without having books stuck on shelves taking up more of my space. But overall it's a very nice presentation but the only way I would have it is if somebody brought it me as a present, simply because I would not spend than much money on a book and no book is worth that much in the first place. I am a fan of their music but do not need my name in a book to prove it and certainly would not pay any extra to have it included or just for someone to scribble their name on it. I rather think I would have to be as Thick As A Brick so I really don't mind if I sit this one out Nice of you to show it to us though Darren but unfortunately the price is not exactly what I would call a Tempting Turkey

Book looks nice but do we learn anything new that's not in the individual album deluxe box sets. The information in those is excellent, so I fail to see the value in this book, if you have all the box sets. As long as they continue to include all the albums, which I understand is the intention. It's also a bit expensive, for what it is.

Good review and very whitty comments but as much as I love Anderson and tull I wouldn't part with the wonga for it.

Why in this book don’t appear Doane Perry, Andrew Giddings, Jonathan Noyce, David Peg and others members of the band to much more important than the current members of the Ian Anderson band, for me Jethro Tull was over in 2014, now not interested in this band, I prefer remember Jethro Tull until the Christmas Album .

It should be noted that Martin Barre had no involvement with this book.
