The Exedy Lightweight Racing Flywheel is designed for any 2011-2014 Mustang GT, 2007-2012 GT500, 2003-2004 Mach 1, 1996-2004 Cobra that is equipped with an 8 bolt main. The lightweight Exedy Racing Flywheel is made from billet Chromoly steel and is engineered to improve the engine response of your Mustang by reducing the rotating mass. Reducing the weight and the inertia of the flywheel will allow for your engine to rev quicker and hit the power band sooner, resulting in better acceleration. Intended to work with
Exedy Racing Clutches, this Exedy Lightweight 8 Bolt Racing Flywheel is engineered to sustain high RPM use.

Solid Billet Construction. The Exedy Lightweight Racing Flywheel is manufactured from solid 1-piece billet chromoly steel forgings to achieve a lightweight and durable construction. Exedy was even kind enough to incorporate unique design features in this flywheel to improve the airflow and cooling performance inside the clutch housing. This kit has an 8-bolt main and is applicable to specific Mustang years.

Professional Installation Recommended. You will need sufficient mechanical expertise, a complete set of hand tools, and access to a lift or jack to bolt-on the Exedy Lightweight Racing Flywheel. Total installation time is approximately 3 to 4 hours. Professional installation is highly recommended.
