I think what a lot of average consumers fail to realize is the clientele for the Hermes edition is already use to spending 💰 on accessories. They see it as getting an Apple Watch w/ their Hermes band purchase. They don’t need the features of an Ultra because in their industry it’s always been fashion over function. It’s really cool Apple has tapped into this market and evident by the video, it worked.

the hermes version has an extra year of warranty, its definitely a key difference which is worth a good buck, so it’s the only version able to get extended to a maximum of 3 years

The main benefits of Apple Watch Hermes over the Stainless Steel is literally exclusive Watch face, brand etching, oh and they also made the space black exclusive to it now. And of course the unboxing experience. Not worth it at all.

Apple Watch Hermes face watch cannot and will never be available for regular Apple users. I’ve always wanted to own something Hermes. I finally am the proud owner of a Hermes product & I am a huge fan of watches ever since I got one in a candy bag as a child 😃🥰

I actually bought the Apple Watch Hermes series 3 and I don’t really regret it. I’ll probably never buy one again but I still use the band with my Apple Watch ultra.

Just because an item isn´t significantly more expensive than the rest of a brand´s portfolio does not automatically mean it isn´t overpriced. Let´s not pretend this is anything but a question of squeezing as much profit from a certain kind of customer. Luxury brands don´t price their products simply based on their quality or method of production. A huge portion of the price has to do with the name itself and the perception of exclusivity (that´s what the whole limited edition / exclusive series / VIP labels are all about). Basically, there is no ceiling where haute-couture brands are concerned as long as there are people willing to pay the asking price.

Thank you for this video. I wanted to buy a friend of mine an apple watch for her birthday and was trying to decide between the Ultra 2 and the Hermes. In the case of her, she doesn't really need a fancy brand and if the Ultra 2 has even better specs, the best apple watch to get her is the Ultra 2 as a gift for her birthday. This is especially true if they don't care about "brand names".

Apple Watch Hermes Edition: 1550 €

So Apple is basically charging you an extra 230 € just for the packaging, watch faces and the Hermes name under the case.
So yeah, it's overpriced for any Apple or Hermes costumer. Remember, the important thing here is the Hermes band, you don't even need the sports band if you bought the 900 € apple watch (45mm) with a sports band.

As someone who has purchased not one but TWO Apple Watch Hermes over the years. I love them dearly. The leather on the Hermes bands is absolutely incredible and the orange sport band is perfect for the gym. Getting an Hermes watch WITH all the convenience of an iPhone on my wrist is an experience next to none.

It’s technically sold by Apple. That’s why I think all the overpricing rage comes through. If it was sold by Hermes which is better know for pure luxury I think less people would consider it overpriced.

It’s a fashion house. It’s not meant to be cheaper Duh. It’s meant to be exclusive and exclusivity cost. A Porsche starts around 100k and a Honda Civic 18k. They’re both cars, but one brand is exclusive.

I bought my wife, the Hermes Apple Watch that came with the leather and metal band the chain-link and it’s beautiful. She also has a few other Hermes bands. Now that apple no longer sells leather you can only buy the good bands from Hermes.

Have the ultra, just got the regular series 8 silver stainless today, mt next band will be the link bracelet, and then I’m getting a Hermes space black series 8 or silver
