hey guys, I just wanna address some of the random chops in this video it's because HBO copyrighted a lot of the parts of this video so I had to cut them out otherwise the video would have been taken down, I'm going to be making a new one soon <3

Maddy Perez does speak really calmly and slowly, but not all the time. But I think that could be a key to confidence and not stuttering so much, which is something I had some problems with.

This was such a good breakdown. I really agree w the "work on something you're good at" tip. That's why I really think everyone should take up some kind of physical activity, like dancing, zumba, sports, whatever because it then helps you to appreciate your body more for what it can do than how it looks. When I was playing sports competitively I literally didn't even really care how I looked because I was just so sure of what my body could achieve physically that how I looked just wasn't even smth I thought about. That gives you a lot of confidence because one of the biggest insecurities for many girls is lessened.

I think real confidence comes from the inside. People will realize if its real or not. The tips can help but if you don‘t like yourself as you are and cant freely be yourself without overanalyzing every move, it is not real

The lip color hides the bruise but I feel the color washes you out! Your color palette is a palette of lovely light colors and that brown is also a light brown! I think a bold contrasting color like a deep crimson red or even a deeper chocolate brown would pop SO beautifully with you! 💖 Sorry about your bruise and I hope you healed flawlessly 💖 Thank you so much, Maddy is a definite favorite character and heck, it wouldn't hurt to learn the great aspects of her

I don’t know. I play two instruments and dance- I’ve won many many competitions over the years and simultaneously do very good in school. I know my talents (and yes, to a certain extent that makes me more confident) but it doesn’t change that I’ve been suffering from social anxiety my whole life. I’m still introverted off stage and *instead of appearing confident I’m so anxious that I appear arrogant.* People make me nervous and I’ve come to accept that it’s in my genes.

The question presents itself of what confidence is. To me, confidence is being content with what you do, who you are and what you achieve, as well as not being scared of other people. It’s hard to achieve the second thing without mastering the first but I for one don’t know if I’ll ever get over my social anxiety/ fear of groups of people. Maddie has obviously never had to deal with bullying or unsupportive parents (which doesn’t devaluate her struggles) and it’s hard/ sometimes impossible to overcome these childhood experiences because they made you who you are. I’ve been in therapy for years and have come to accept that I can continue working on myself for the rest of my life but that there’s no immediate cure to be more confident.

The only thing that helped me was accepting that it’s going to be a long process (and taking pills, smoking or drinking but those things also make you more unconscious and dizzy- wouldn’t recommend as a solution).

Try dressing a certain way, do your hair and make-up in a such a way that you like yourself. Become obsessed with who you are. It’s only false confidence but that’s exactly what Maddie has (proven by one of her lines to Lexi).

We are products of our environment and if our environment tears us down, we will be unable to push against everything and everyone.

Thank you so much angel 💖! Btw I've just been feeling so down lately due to this bad grade I got on my physics test even tho I studied for a whole week straight. I don't know what my parents will feel 😭 sometimes it feels like I can't do it, but I remember these tips and tricks and try my best again. Thank you for these videos 🤷‍♀!! Could u make a video about 'study techniques to get A+'? I mean I know your channel isn't about school or stuff but it would help a lot 😁 Ily
