I’ve been suffering from recurring bv from years and I developed PID and pelvic abscess. Still have pelvic pain, doctors can’t explain why I still have pain. What is crazy to me is that my first doctor told me BV had nothing to do with it but it appears from this video that it was most likely the cause. I can’t believe doctors don’t know anything about bv that is the most common infection in women!

Hi ! I’m from the UK, I had the copper coil placed in November 2020 and then early December 2020 I was rushed into hospital and diagnosed with PID but did not have an STD/STI and was told I was close to sepsis because I had left it so long ( I just thought that’s what happened after getting the coil fitted ) I was kept in the hospital for treatment for a couple of days and then I was on two different oral antibiotics for 25 days after leaving the hospital . I then had a follow up in February and have severe scaring on my filopian tubes and ovaries and I am not infertile unless I try a surgery suggest from my gynocology team to open my filopian tubes back up with stents ( like what they do with heart stents ) but even then, even if the surgery worked they said I am extremely likely to have ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages . Please be careful people and go to your doctor if you feel something is wrong

I've been diagnosed with pid for over. A year now my symptoms are pelvic pain and watery colored and smelly vagina discharge and as much as I treat it and spend lots of money on it it keeps reoccurring and so tired of taking drugs and injections all the time I get the discharge everyday

I'm 26 i had an ectopic, cornual interstitial pregnancy. I was 11 weeks. I haven't conceived in 4 years. I also found out I had PID during the surgery of pain I took pills and a shot and I feel better. But its been 2 years since I had PID treated NO BABY. I guess I'm infertil even tho my doctor says different. I hate this I can't afford Ivf... I guess I'm stuck alone

Okay so the root of this is bacterial. So how can we eliminate and restore the uterus? Aside from antibiotics

The video mentions that PID can be caused by bacteria introduced during procedures like surgery or childbirth. Does the video discuss how these procedures can introduce bacteria and how this risk can be minimized?
