That looks like somebody forgot to tighten the crown and got saltwater in the watch. It does not much to cause damage

How do you get water damage on a allegedly water proof watch? I know they're rated for specific depths but dang. What you gotta do to get damage like that? Leave it at the bottom of the ocean or something?
