Great advice, I practiced for an hour a day for 5 days around the Nurburgring gp track and by the time I finished my 1 hour race I had improved my lap times by 2 and a half seconds. I only have 2 days to do the same at Spa until my next race.

My breakthrough moment was at Brands Hatch. The only track I drove on at the time. One day I did a 10min sprint race and was doing 23s. I practiced for months at that track and could do mid 24s at best on a hot lap. I guess the race took my mind off of the lap times, and help break through my plateau.

Consistent lap times is also nice :) you can be getting awfly similar lap times each lap while your component is all over the place with theyre lap time be it a mix of faster and slower, but the majority of the time you’ll end up winning

One of the biggest detractors from sims being “realistic” is the amount of practice an individual can take part in. In real life those laps would cost you money, and time and expose you to very high probability of damages, injuries and huge expenses.

Choosing the right car too. Im on gt7 and on a race every one is using the evo gr4 car.
I cant get to terms with it so i chose the mazda and i am so much faster in it.
