What’s Next For Mario Games…?!

Welcome back to another video on the Pengu_26 channel! Sit back and relax as I cover all of our recent Mario content, as well as predicting all of the titles we will be getting in the next few years. Hang tight, it’s a LOT of games, varying from Paper Mario, to Luigi’s Mansion, and even our long awaited 3D Mario game. Lots of things to consider, especially since the 40th Super Mario Bros. Anniversary is next year along with the release of the Nintendo Switch 2!

I feel like a Bowser game would more likely be about trying to stop another villain from conquering both the Koopa and Mushroom Kingdoms. I doubt Nintendo would EVER let Bowser win against Mario.

On 2d remakes i think Nintendo were in the talks about remaking super Mario bros 3 but not sure if theyre still considering it

3:14 I did do something similar with the 3DS remake of the first game where they released it a year before 3. They could be doing something similar here as 3 is one of there of their best looking titles on the Switch and 4th game could continue that tradition.

4:49 I don't think we need anymore Mario RPGS imo. personally I think Bowser would fit better in a warriors style game or a hack and slash since Odyssey kind play with this idea of slashing through rocks and shooting fireballs at them as well.

10:51 I think Nintendo wants one 3D Mario per console as beyond Galaxy, there's never really been a direct sequel.

11:58 It doesn't matter how long its been since this game. If it's still accessible to people, then there's zero reason to bundle it with games on discontinued consoles.

Speaking of 3D Mario games, have you forgot about Mario 64 DS? It's a Mario 3D game too, duh!

Here’s my predictions and my thoughts on your predictions:
- a super Mario odyssey deluxe is possible as that game didn’t do well
- a 3d all stars 2 collection would be really cool as it would have galaxy 2 and 3d land, but you also forgot 64 ds. Maybe even never before released follow ups like galaxy 3, Mario 128, and sunshine 2. They should also have a bowser’s fury 2 as the original didn’t feel complete. I doubt they’d add odyssey as I’ve said before they’d make a deluxe version or even a sequel. So they’d have to choose which one.
- I doubt jamboree would get dlc. Maybe it gets ported to the switch 2, or maybe superstars does? Hell a super Mario party 3 could work!
- Mario wonder soared during the 1st week of release so they’d definitely make a sequel
- a new super Mario bros all stars containing ds, Wii, and 2
- they could do a fresh 2d Mario series after a wonder sequel.
- a Mario 64 switch 2 remake in honor of the 30th anniversary for Mario 64.
- a Mario themed switch 2 console and controllers

I think there will be a MUCH longer wait between the release of the next Mario Kart and it's DLC, and just as long of a wait between that DLC and the new Mario Kart after that. Game development cycles are inevitably getting longer and so are console lifespans. I doubt Nintendo will want to have two major Mario Kart titles on the same console at the risk of the second not selling as well.

Yeah I’m really disappointed that we probably won’t be getting Odyssey 2, but a new open world game seems like a much better option in general

I would like to have New Super Mario.2 and Super Mario 3D Land from Nintendo 3DS to be remake on Nintendo SWITCH games just like they did for Super Mario 3D Worlds because no one are playing Wii, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS anymore now that they're moving onto Nintendo SWITCH.

Yeah I’m surprised not that much people are talking about Mario’s 40th anniversary is next year. I really believe we are gonna get LOTS of Mario series games next year! Even more then what we are getting lately!

Also I think a video idea you should do next should be a 3D Mario prediction ideas or a Mario crossover game idea!

I want a new 3D Mario Game for the switch, new Mario & Sonic Olympics Game, and a new Mario Sports Game happen next year in 2025 and also next 2 more years in 2026 and I've heard the Mario Movie 2 is happening in Theaters and Cinemas on April 3rd 2026 that Yoshi is gonna be in the second Film of the Mario Movie 2 that I'll be HYPED about it!
