Learn how to use the clone command in Minecraft 1.16/1.17/1.18/1.19/1.20! This clone command tutorial will show you how it works in depth! I'll go through the modes (masked, filtered, replace) and how to use force and move! You'll never have to search for "clone command not working" again! ;) This tutorial was recorded on java (pc), but bedrock/xbox/ps4/pe are all nearly identical (thank goodness!) I hope you find this to be a useful clone command example!

===l o n k s===

The minecraft clone command is one of the best minecraft commands for building. You can use it with command blocks to make nice doors, or working drawbridges, or even generic animations! I'll show you how to use the clone command in Minecraft java (or bedrock if you're like that.) You'll never have to google "minecraft clone command not working" again. One common error message is "The source and destination cannot overlap." and that's an easy fix! The clone command for houses (as demonstrated in the thumbnail) is just like any other clone command. After watching this you'll know where the clone command clones from! That's the hardest part, and what makes this a somewhat advanced command, but this is still a great way to learn the minecraft clone command for beginners.

I honestly didn't even know cloning was a thing until this video. Thank you for expanding my building ways :)

your way of teaching is exactly what people need when watching a tutorial. you have the skills to be really informative, and you make it entertaining.

Moving blocks with filters is actually super useful if you want to see/show the inner workings of a structure you are building. Especially for blocks that are occupied previously.

Wow. Just wow. The bottom corner thing did baffle me but you showing me what to do with the F3 and the 3 colored lines was spot on, this is exactly what I needed and you did it perfectly. Thank you! Got a sub just for that.

I already knew how the command worked, yet I still watched this video because you're just such an informative and entertaining guy.

I was making one of my biggest builds yet, and there I go, making a singular block miscount making 60% of my build and thousands of blocks out of place. Thank you for making this, not all hope is now lost

For anyone who gets the error “Can’t access block outside the world”, just fly up and between the original structure and where you’ll clone it so the chunks are in range.

So that's the melon monster you were talking about, gotcha

Very informative, thank you. I've now learned that using this command somehow leads to an unavoidable melon monster. Like one of those unkillable snail situations.

But thanks, trying to make a test build of something for survival on my creative build, and building large towers using /fill is TEDIOUS AS ALL HELL, especially all those little diagonal angles (for things like large "rounded" castle towers). So this helps immensely. And double-thanks for the warning on how to position the command before execution. I guarantee I'm bugger something up at least once.

i cant stress enough how efficient this command is. My friend introduce this command to me and as a city builder, it speeds up my builds by 5x up to 10x (btw i used structure blocks)

Thank you so much dude I was hella confused about the destination part, even thinking the destination part gets the cords of the middle of your build, turns out it's just the corner with the lowest side lol, thanks again, man! Imma subscribe so I can get more info about Minecraft stuff

The filtered option just made me so confused when I was messing up around with the commands, thank you for explaining it for us!

YES! thank you. I've been into building more now and had figured out the fill command my self, and noticed the clone one. Just needed that extra help understanding how to use it!

My only problem now is what I want to clone is too big XD
