And he keeps recording his voice using the headset. Actually very nice!

I am very interested in hot swappable not really because i replace switches that much (only did it once with my hot swap board) but the fact that its so easy to disassemble and clean saved me multiple times where i spilled a drink on my desk... Spent 30 minutes disassembling the board down to the PCB gave it a wipe and the just replaced the switches that had liquid in them. Done.

So much more convenient than buying a new board, soldering and potentially letting things corrode.

I hope they sell a barebones version. I bet it'll be $50 - $70 cheaper considering the price of those switches.

A point for me with hot swappable is that I can get a good base, with good keycap and keep it for very long as I can just change the switch and keycap if I ever have issue. Never had any issue yet on my keyboard, but I'm ready if it ever happen.
Now, when are we getting a review on that headset?

i must admit bought a KBD fans Lite V3 in late age, with Oil Kings from Gaterons. going away from my custom Aluminium build to a Plastic encasing with proper foam and dampning, and good stems for the spacebar + the oilkings, have given me something incredible, the sound of this keyboard, is just INSANE.

Hot swap is nice for disassembly, especially coming from the previously terrible razer designs.

I dunno, at that point is there any real reason to buy that over a custom keyboard? If you want something that 's supposedly for "gaming performance" then a Wooting or whoever is copying them seems like the go to for that.

The fact they dont give you a option to come stock woth linears is whats keeping me away

I think hot swap should just be the standard. Its easier to clean as well

I'm mostly interested in having swappable switches for cases of food incidents or the LEDs burning out, really.

decent start, hope they allow VIA software customization, not a fan of synapse at all

Alright genuine answer here... I don't know why people are moving to smaller and smaller keyboards everywhere and lighter and lighter mice.. Wasn't adding weights to mice a thing till some time ago? And though I do game, I would prefer something with a numpad because filling in numbers in excel or something like that needs a numpad. Vote only for full keyboards with swappable switches(also I have a corsair k70 with some dead rgbs and want to swap only those switches)

Were you wearing and recording using the Blackshark v2 2023 for any particular reason or do you like its mic that much?

I bought one last year, the Keychron Q3. Simply cause most of the gaming keyboards are subpar in quality and building one myself is not really something im into. That was the next best option for me.

You can lube seitches or clean your keyboard a lot easier with hot-swap feature and if one switch isn't working, you replace just one switch instead of whole keyboard.. +if you want, replacing springs is extremely cheap and you can adjust the actuation force to your usage, for example with light switches i always press them accidentally by resting my fingers on wasd etc. or some people can put 150g springs for CapsLock etc so they don't press it by accident as much..

I would, but there are some good barebones with open source software and 1000 Hz polling rate, often cheaper than gaming brands. I am not a mechanical keyboard enthusiast, but swapped my gateron red pro for the rather silent Wuque Studio Silent Linear. Those are the most silent switches i could find that you could easily obtain in Germany

I bought a skyloong gk-108 and i'm so much happier with a custom keyboard rather than the logitech g413 carbon i had before. it felt like when i built my first PC, so much better than the prebuilt ones
