Actress Chantalle Ng claims dad hit her so badly she ended up in the hospital

In an interview on Hear U Out, Singaporean actress Chantalle Ng claims that her father, former actor Huang Yiliang, had hit her so badly one day that she had to be hospitalised for a week.

Huang responds to the accusations in a Facebook video.

I am also a dad with a teenager son. Never in my life I will believe in canning to let your child learnt. Yes, I agreed sometimes in parenting either mother or father has to play good and bad guy. But it's all about communicating and teaching to your child definitely not by canning. Certain moral punishments should be given for repeat offense and encouragement words for things that your kids has done well. I believe this should be the correct way.

Too bad you got a f.up father. I never hit and scold my daughter even once only briefly criticize her at times. Always told her to do best if her best is not good enough so be it. Turned out she got very good result for her PSLE, GCE O & A level with straight A's.
