Good video. I read yesterday that Google is aware of the heating issue and looking into it. If it's software bug they will fix it. As for 4K video, that's not issue for me. I'd stick to HD w only 128gb storage.

I'm still rockin' the pixel 3a and haven't had a reason to upgrade. I need to check when it will stop receiving updates though. Also, the waterproof rating would be nice. I also need to compair the size with the 5a, I don't want to go any larger, this one already had a problem fitting into some pockets.

I would just like to note that on my pixel 4a 5g, I have the same issue with video causing the phone to over heat. This isn't unique to the 5a. This is a multi year problem which makes me think it's hardware related, not software. It's either that or their being extremely lazy.

Honestly Lon, is it worth swapping from a galaxy s10 to this phone or waiting till the pixel 6? Your opinion of course...

NOT WATERPROOF!! my Google Pixel 5A was submerged for 15 seconds in 5 inches of water, AND IT FRIED!!🤬 Water damage voids the warranty and Asurion insurance. "you dunk it, you bought it"

I wish pixels had video out and w desktop mode. Those features are a big deal to me

Unless you're breathless to buy one, keep your wallet in your pocket until a couple of months after Google intros the Pixel 6. History shows that the 5A will sell for at least $100 less, then. [I really like my Pixel 3A, now coming on 3 years old.]
