I've got the S20 FE and it has most of the features you mentioned the Pixel 5A lacks, wireless charging, higher refresh rate and better processor but to be honest, those don't really matter to me. I never use a wireless charger because it takes much longer to reach a reasonable charge compared to a regular charger, plus it makes the phone hot in no time which can affect the lifespan of the battery. It's nice to have a 120hz display but it drains your battery considerably faster so I always set it on 60hz and it makes my phone last for a day and a half. The only time where you'll see a real difference in the processor speeds is when you play games or do video editing on the phone both of which I never do, so for average usage (email, web browsing, social media, casual gaming) there is almost no difference in speed compared to a faster processor

5 worst things are not actually the worst part of the phone. We can survive with 60Hz, without wireless charging, etc. But the best things are way better than the other phones with even higher price range.

I don’t think lack of wireless charging is a negative since it allowed them to put such a huge battery in without the wireless coils inside the case.

I'll take expandable storage over wireless charging any day. But then again, if Google offered expandable storage it just might be harder for them to sell you on upgrading the storage capacity of your Google Drive? 🤔

This video is missing many things, first it's the custom support outside US and Japan, when my brother broke his 4a screen, took almost 2 month to repair. Second is forget about recording in 4K 60 or even 30 will overheat and turn off. Third is update, that can compromise security and compatibility with others softwares. Fourth, only 200 GB cloud store, in 4a is unlimited. The rest I say, water splash is worst than 4a5G and only 1 SIM card allow on 5a. Conclusion, I still prefer Apple and Samsung because customer service, accidents always happens when we have a daily use of the device and I don't care about pictures, it's not thing I do for survive, pictures is not essential for me, but a good performance, no bugs, and fast charging

It's still better than many android phones....atleast value for money...with the basic things just right...good camera, good battery life, good display, good software and hardware...makes more sense to buy it rather than buying flagships, just to flaunt...when such phones can do the job pretty well.

What is a power user and when does it matter, outside of games? Prove that a faster refresh rate or a "better" chip matters. Is the new Pixel phone a good or great midrange phone?
I would like to see tests which give some idea of battery life. Define a use case and use it until it drops.
I suspect that phones in this class are great for most people. The value of flagship phones is more dubious. Reviewers will need to make a stronger case.

If you want wireless charging for this 5a, then just buy a wireless charging tag with the USB-C end. Plug it in, and lay this tag down on the back of the 5a. Then get a case to hold the tag down on the back of the 5a. BTW, those wireless charging tags cost anywhere from $7-$20 on Amazon.

I love this phone I bought it today and I love, I also have the Galaxy s21 ultra and the OnePlus McLean edition and to be honest I think I'm gonna be using the 5A as my daily driver because I ain't missing it one but. But you forgot that there's no Android beta 12 for the 5A 😔
