Yes, once the video was done, I recalled the cardboard spacer under the platter! Oh well. The stylus is usually pretty safe on the headshell...especially with the two twist ties. When I ship to return the table, I also put the cables in a bag. Thanks for your comments.

Useful videos. Too many tables get damaged due to sloppy packing.

I'm surprised that you don't recommend removing the headshell and packing it separately.

I usually put the cables in some kind of bag to stop them from damaging things. I also like to put a cardboard spacer under the inner platter so that the bearing shaft isn't contacting the thrust plate during shipping.
