Lots of people don’t know how to play Def Jam Vendetta in proper way! FFNY has faster pace than Vendetta! It’s very difficult to say but there is things I like in Vendetta more then FFNY! I still play this game on regular basis! I’m just happy that I can still play this games 20 years later

Def jam fight for ny was better because the fighting didn't take 10 to 20 minutes in some fights like vendetta did

While Def Jam: Fight for NY certainly tried to be flashier and more complex, Def Jam Vendetta stays true to what matters: solid gameplay. Fight for NY might look like it’s doing more, but let’s be real—it just overcomplicated things with gimmicks and extra moves. Vendetta knew that less is more, focusing on clean, satisfying wrestling mechanics instead of cluttering the experience with street fighting and weapon distractions. If you enjoy style over substance, sure, Fight for NY is for you. But for those who appreciate a game with pure focus and tight controls, Vendetta wins every time.

The developers of both vendetta and fight for ny did make WWE games for the n64, i know this is common knowledge but I'm just saying

I like Vendetta better. I am not a fan of hip hop music, nor of bloody gang wars, nor of murders between rappers. Fight for NY reminds me of all those things that don't appeal to me. I grew up watching movies about illegal martial arts tournaments in the '80s and early '90s... Vendetta reminds me of all that. I like the atmosphere of Illegal betting and underground tournaments much more than the gang warfare approach. And I also find it more credible.
