Pro scooter #2. Thx, works fine, new accelerator $12. Only problem was in part when you need move new wires through the hole, I have to remove 2 screws in top and bottom of Light then remove light, you can then press a wires from front side, without it it was not possible, connector was blocked in hole by rest of wires, it is more safe also :) Easy and cheap replacement.

I crashed on a scooter 2 days ago and I completely destroyed my throttle, resulting a code 14 error appear on the screen.
I've managed to successfully replace the throttle thanks to your tutorial - it was very clear and easy to follow.

The only small detail I noticed is that removing screen's plastic cover was suprisingly hard. It looks like xiaomi scooter 3 dosent have 2-part screen disassembly - it have one large piece difficult to lift. I treated glue with a hair dryer with good result. After reassembling cover i covered it with electric tape for extra rain procection since once lifted glue will always be weaker.

Hey there, I cant seem to unscrew the throttle using the allen key. It wont go in and im unable to unscrew the throttle in order to replace it. It will just get loose and doesnt work. The throttle still remains tight.

Does anyone know if you need a legit one or can I use a clone accelerator the one on the clone has resistance pulling it down whereas the legit Xiaomi 1s pulls down really easy I can’t reset it I get error 14 should it have some resistance or be really easy I only paid £30 for it and have a couple of clones with bad batteries

I struggled to get cable back threw so I tied a piece of string a tweezers and pulled it threw easy
All working now 🙌
