If you are new to Crypto, my suggestion is that you start with buying ~$150 worth of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin @ Coinbase and get familiar with storing it, moving it around, etc.

By sticking with large, reputable exchanges for your first purchase (Coinbase) and first trade (Binance) you can avoid getting scammed right at the start by purchasing a non-existing coin off a scammy exchange. (You would be surprised how many people fall into this trap)

Don't have a hardware wallet?
Be safe and buy them direct from the manufacturer. (Not just through some random on eBay, Amazon, etc)
(If you are just starting out, I would just recommend a Ledger Nano S)

What if someone does not remember much about the tokens they use? Can you run the program without a tokenlist? We have used a few phrases in the token list but I am not sure if they are correct and we input them properly. The program is running now and hoping it works.

Also, following your example, I ran the program but mine is using 4 worker threads. yours uses 12 worker threads. is that a problem?

Hi - I'm try to access my Blockchain from 2015 and have a decent idea of the password as I use 'LEET' type passwords and remember the core part but each possibility has 10's if not 100's of millions of possibilities using the typos map approach. I've tried what I think are the most likely but have only come up with password list exhausted. To check that I've set things us correctly I've created a new Blockchain wallet and can crack that using the same approach. I'm working through all possibilities that I can think of (think I need to buy a GPU!) but just wanted to ask if you know of any logical reason of why it may not work for an old wallet if it does for the new? Thanks for any help you might be able to offer!
