Agile Estimation - Large Effort/Budget - 90% Accurate

I made this to describe the agile estimation technique my friend figured out some years ago, and which we used across Toyota to rapidly size and price large scale programs, even greater than 1 year with a 90% accuracy.

This is a simple to learn but incredibly powerful technique that is has been field tested at scale, and taught for several years in global companies. It short, it works!

It is based on a reductionist approach, similar to how 5 Why analysis works, and uses an Affinity Estimation style technique. I repeat, it just works and I have years of data to validate this. I hope you find it revelatory and useful.

It will also show you why a point based estimation approach combined with the correct use of velocity as a capacity metric is invaluable when costing the delivery of work where knowing dates and costs is essential. i.e. In most companies.
