Winter Holidays in Russia/What Russian Kids Got For Christmas/Russian Family VLOG

That's how my Russian family spends our winter holidays. Most of the time we are simply being lazy!!! And when we are not, we visit our friends and relatives, invite guests over to our place or go skiing to the park.

Do you like to have long holidays? Frankly speaking I don't like holidays that are soo long! I feel disoriented in time, lazy, unproductive. Though I do like to do nothing for an evening or two but not for 10 days in a row!

The clock you showed is so pretty and the chimes sound beautiful. That New Year noise is the same here. I'm quite hard of hearing so once I'm asleep it's okay and my little doggies go to sleep too. My mom has to medicate her dogs or they make themselves sick over the booms and bangs. Im having so much fun learning about your family culture and so on. Thanks for posting.

Happy New Year! .. yes the kids schedules get all thrown off during winter break. I walked out of the living room yesterday evening for a few minutes and when I walked back in my daughter was on the sofa fast asleep.. I had to wake her because it was too early for bed time.. when it was time for bed she couldn’t fall asleep and was awake until 11:45. I know she is probably very tired at school today and she as well has activities this evening. I hope you all get back in the rhythm soon😊

i would find it hard having 10 days off in winter, as there is not a lot to do, it makes it worse with the restrictions else i would go away, do you find that a problem there, i always either worked Christmas or had a day off and saved my holidays for the summer, i could have 4 weeks in a year payed holidays but have to book them in advance, not a lot of places close for 10 days here, i did work at a place once were they closed for 10 days in the summer but i volunteered to work so could take time off when i wonted but it was only for maintenance so there were jobs i could do most would take the time off, how many payed holidays would someone get a year, is that mainly factories that close for the winter, may be you could include it one time in a vlog the reasons why that would be interesting , someone gave me a model tank this year so i will be building it some time but its smaller than there ones, thanks for sharing very interesting
