The ZoomBrowser program that I used for Windows 7 to download photos from my Canon 6D to the computer
is no longer listed on the Canon website, and the current versions of EOS Utility are still not compatible with Windows 11, my current operating system.

It may just be me, however I didn't quite follow how to actually select each of the 2 modes, I fully understand what they are, just maybe not exactly how to locate them in the menu? Will just have a play with the (2nd hand) 6D Mark 2 I have purchased in 20024.

How do I turn of face detection if using viewfinder? Can't fine anything in menus . Or is face detection available only when shooting video? If it is available while looking through the view finder, how do I enable it.

Was it hard to push the whole cluster of those points more to the top?
I mean, that's where most of the important objects for focusing are. Especially, considering that the cluster is even smaller than it is in this video.

Rudy, I am having big-time focusing problems using the TTL auto focus with an EF 85mm f/1.2 lens for head and shoulder portraits outdoors. The highest focus point in the array is way too low to focus on the eyes. My only option seems to be focus and recompose (chancy with the narrow DOF of this lens) or use the upper focus point and then crop (which negates the value of the full frame sensor).
I simply cannot see the LCD in bright sunlight so I can't use live view with the great dual pixel auto focus with touch screen selection. Using a shield like the Hoodman Loupe allows me to see the LCD OK but, doesn't allow me to select a focus point because the hood gets in the way of the touch screen and there is no joystick to select the focus on the eye.
Will the face detect automatically focus on the eye if I use that method with the loupe or will the focus be on some other portion of the face.
I really don't want to dump this camera because there are really a few decent things about it. But, if I cannot use it for narrow DOF outdoor portraits, I am afraid that that my 6D2 will be visiting an eBay auction.

2k price with af point from 80D, no 4k and af clustered in middle. So we pay almost 800$ more for increased sensor size.

They are not come with camera no more last time I bought couples camera they come with cd room firmware so I only download drive rose utility that it to my laptop one drive firmware do I download another software thanks
