This bow confuses me because some people love them and others hate them. I'm guessing the quality control varies and if you get one without handshock it's a keeper. I have never shot one so I don't know. Thanks for the review.

I've only shot recurves. I've heard long bows are "smoother".
Anyone have thoughts on this?

You mention since it’s a longbow it’s more forgiving then a recurve….in what way exactly is it more forgiving? Thanks.
