I love to see Czech pilots are getting the proper recognition they deserve. The backbone of American aviation.

From where I sit, pilots undergo an incredible amount of education and training which most of us are incapable of. That's why airline pilots are very special people indeed!

Thanks Captain Steeeve!

Now I know. (A tiny bit more...)

Yes, it is fantastic. I went into one simulator and given the opportunity to try and land the airbus let me tell you it’s not child’s play. Kudos to you pilots.

Haha - according to the subtitles, you can sit in the right seat with a check pilot, but for the left seat, it needs to be a Czech pilot. :D

Not to mention the years of training and experience you have prior to the airline. This amount of training is given to already highly qualified pilots who may have already worked flying a different jet. This amount of training is just to add a type rating to a certificate.

A highlight of my life as a teenage girl back in the 70s was going to the simulator with my dad. I got to fly the plane and loved it.

I live in Sydney. A Museum at Bankstown airport. Even though small planes. I just admire how much training goes in that. A jet however 😮. Always enjoy your videos

I had the opportunity to experience the Airbus 380 simulator at a major airline ! Sitting in the captains seat on take off was very unnerving ! It was so real I was trying to come to grips on being completely helpless until I convinced myself it wasn’t real!

I got to go to the motion based 737 flight simulator in DC last July. It was so much fun. I did a take off, requested to do some UPRT (upset prevention & recovery training), and a landing. I'll never be able to be an actual pilot, due to health issues, but it was really cool to be able to do that. And it is very realistic.

Timely. Hubs leaves for his yearly training in the am. The training pilots receive is stellar.

I knew a guy who had a balloon flight business, and he also had a proper flight sim that folks could book a session on. This one time he was flying the sim by himself, somewhere over the Atlantic, when he suddenly realised he had a couple due for a balloon flight in 20 mins...he started to panic and swung the 'plane' round and put his foot down, worried he would be late....then he remembered where he was and just shut it down and walked out😂

That makes complete sense to do that for training very smart.
