Smart! Always be prepared. We have something very similar. There is always a possibility of an emergency, fire, broken down vehicle, You can’t ever be to prepared. Great bag!

Bag looks really good. I would consider adding a Baofeng radio (thay are fairly cheap on ebay), a pewpew, a couple hundred in currency and a few ounces or so of silver.

You can use the the pads to use for bandages the help the bleeding. Also you can add contractor bags they can be used for multiple purposes like rain poncho a ground cloth and so much more, you dont want to sit on a wet ground.

I'd add a water container, use the lifestraw from it instead of having to lay down on your stomach to drink from the sorce..stainless one as you can boil water and cook in it. I like the SOG 🎒

I'd add some type of Tape, hand sanitizer, flashlight and batteries.

Great bag! Ours are called "bug out bags". 1) put that feminine hygiene back in there! Use for big wounds. Tampons are great for plugging up bullet wounds or bloody noses. 2) you need waterproof paper and all weather pen. You never know if you need to write something down.

Looks like a great kit. You said that it was your first time opening it in two years. Totally understandable. I would recommend that you check on it twice a year. Depending on your climate, if it gets hot in the summer, the MREs shelf life can drop to 6 months (check to see if any if the pouches have swelled, if so, toss it), check your band aids, prolonged heating can dry out the adhesive (if the wrapper is coming apart, the bandage is no good), batteries (prolonged cold can kill batteries), weirdly glow sticks expire (I've had entire boxes go bad).

Love you supplemental bag. For food, everyone is different, but 1, 200 calories/day is "normal", more for high activity, less for sitting in a liferaft. Might consider a disposable female urinal pouch if you are trapped in your car for 24-48 hours and going outside is not an option. Didn't see, but chemical hand warmers if it gets cold. In an emergency, they would go in the groin and under the armpits to warm the blood in your major arteries and veins.

Great bags! I've subbed.

Think of if you had to abandon your home or car. Your fitness will explain what you need most of. Take a two mile walk
