The movie begins with a heroine previously unknown in the Naruto continuity: Princess Fūn (Princess Gale in the US version). Fūn's nemesis, Mao, challenged her group with an army of undead soldiers. His dark intentions seemed to prevail; that is, until Princess Fūn and her cohorts, Shishimaru, Brit, and Tsukuyaku, unleashed the power of the Seven-Colour Chakra upon him. They saved the day, and Naruto, watching from afar, couldn't have been more elated. As it turned out, Naruto was actually watching the scene in a movie, as was the rest of Team 7.

I love "The Last: Naruto the Movie" (fucking horrible title). But I hate how it's technically canon with this "How I met your mother" type plot and how it leads off to Boruto

My tier list and opinion
S TIER:
1. Road to ninja: The fact that this could happen canon is awesome dude. There is actual slice of life qualities and drama to make the movie interesting and not only fight the bad guy. And seeing all akatsuki fighting together is satisfying bro. Perfect naruto movie Sakura was actually likable here On god tears were shed my man.
2. The last: Being the only canon movie won't differ the placement I give it, luckily its really good and nice closure to naruto's story bringing forth boruto's. Just only behind road to ninja though

A TIER:
3. Legend of the Stone of gelel: I loved naruto and temujin, the world building and interesting premise. Usual villain other than that its a good standalone movie, heartwarming ending and got me feeling a bit
4. Guardians of the crescent moon kingdom: What an og naruto movie should be, ppl might say generic but it was sweet. I loved the fatass prince and his son

B TIER:
5. Boruto the movie: I watched this after watching anime version because why tf not. So boruto was exposed of cheating much earlier here but I liked anime version more. Good still
6. Ninja Clash in the land of Snow: As the first naruto movie enjoyed of course (well because of the fact its hd and 16:9 aspect ratio!!!) and actually hardly got boring. This also starts the running theme of the next movies with annoying princess/girl/kid and naruto changes them throughout the movie
7. Blood prison: The movie starts off quick and gets you hooked, unfortunately the later parts it gets pretty dragged out. The characters are interesting nonetheless especially maroi Hes funny af

C TIER:
8. Bonds: It had the potential to be much greater, and it still is decent no lie. But amaru and her master could've been handled much better. Seeing naruto and Sasuke working together again for the last time since their genin days (well they're actually still genin) brought some nostalgia from og naruto
9. The Lost tower: Why is it so common for naruto movies have promising start then can't stick the landing. I loved the mystery and worldbuilding at first but it got a lot boring afterward. Sweet moments between naruto and his dad at the end though

D TIER:
10. Naruto shippuden the movie (movie 4): Movie starts with the climax and gets you surprise. Naruto and blonde hinata were cute together, other than that it's quite forgettable
11. The will of fire: I don't know what it was about this one, I was trying so hard to stay awake that after finishing the movie I wanted to watch it again the next day, but I couldn't. Something about it couldn't hook me at all

The Last: Naruto the Movie is a movie that I would strongly recommend. It is technically cannon as it is set in the shindens'/wedding timeline and it's honestly really good at exploring Hinata and Naruto's relationship. While I admit it is a bit in your face at times, it is something I would definitely watch after you've completed Naruto Shippuden.
