So on the HX30, for an OM617, is the spacer absolutely necessary? Is it included with the unit?

I want my OM603 Turbo to have decent torque at 2500rpm, so I need some boost then. I'm building a W126 "highway runner". 80mph at 2500rpm (6speed and long diff). Can you recommend a HX35 with #12 housing for my application - or is the HX35 to laggy? I think the HX30 would be too small with to much flow restriction. I have a dieselmeken pump and a T3 TwinScroll manifold btw...Marlon

Thanks for the informative video. Which turbo would you recommend for om605 + 7.5mm mechanical pump? looking for around 300hp + As you mention, daily drivability is key so had thought along the lines of the faster spooling HY35w? Thanks
