2nd Eberspächer Luge World Cup in the Olympic season in Sochi, Russia

At the first of two EBERSPÄCHER Luge World Cups in the 2014 Olympic city of Sochi, brothers Andris and Juris Sics from Latvia claimed the fifth World Cup victory of their career in the doubles' event on Saturday, 27 November 2021. Anna Berreiter from Germany then convinced amidst the freak weather at the Sliding Center Sanki. Johannes Ludwig and Felix Loch convinced with mental strength with a double victory ahead of Russia's world champion Roman Repilov. The Russians Viktoriia Demchenko, Semen Pavlichenko as well as Andri Bogdanov and Iurii Prokhorov won the Team relay competion.
