REALITY CHECK:
#10: Qatar is still scheduled to be the host for 2022 FIFA World Cup. [WRONG]
#9: Both Marvel and DC fared big at the Box Office, but Batman v Superman is only 7th in the list of highest grossing films of the year, while the top spot went to "Captain America: Civil War". Both DC movies were a big disappointment quality-wise, while Marvel did a better job, based on my own opinion and critics' response. [HALF RIGHT, HALF WRONG]
#8: The Super Bowl 50 Champions were the Denver Broncos, defeating by 24-10 the Carolina Panthers. In NBA, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors overcoming a 3-1 deficit. The 2016 Stanley Cup was won by the Pittsburgh Penguins, who are definitely not a Canadian team. [WRONG, WRONG, WRONG]
#7: Virtual reality did become more home friendly with the introduction to the public of the Oculus Rift and other devices, but its use is still far from common in everyday life of players and non-players. [ALMOST RIGHT]
#6: Leo finally won his well-deserved Oscar <3 [GODDAMN RIGHT]
#5: The CERN explained in an August report that the experiments made until now have not proved the existence of the dark matter. [WRONG]
#4: Google didn't buy Twitter. [WRONG]
#3: Apple grew economically since 2015 and seems to actually have interest in self-driving cars as it invested 1 billion dollars in a Uber competitor, but nothing certain has emerged yet. The iPhone 7 was probably the worst received iPhone ever, with its technical problems and the absence of a jack. [MOSTLY WRONG]
#2: Apparently "that kind of crap" actually works in the USA, as Donald Trump won the 2016 Elections. [DEAD WRONG]
HONORABLE MENTIONS: The Schengen Area still exists, although terrorism and uncontrolled immigration are making some nations reconsider it; Jamie Lannister did not die in Season 6 of Game of Thrones; there were no significant discoveries about Tutankhamun; the Virgin Galactic project hasn't fully started yet; if by "Doctor Who" you meant a new season, it's true, if you meant a new doctor, it's not. [SUPER WRONG]
#1: There's still no proof of existing life on Mars, but on November NASA found a huge quantity of iced water on the planet. [WRONG]

One prediction I have is that Suicide Squad will do better than Batman VS Superman at the Box Office. I don't know. Maybe it's due to the fact the latest BvS Trailer didn't fair well with viewers and fans. Just my theory.
