It's still good to be a woman in Russia! Even when you're 50, they call you a young lady!👍😀

Thank-you for your videos, broken down into such useful segments, signed up to the camp and can't wait to start, hoping this will be such a boost and help for speaking and getting over those nerves!

2.
BEING POLITE

So now that we know how to address a person, let's learn how to be polite.

2.1.
Excuse me!/ I beg your pardon!/ I apologize.
Прошу прощения.
Proshu proshcheniya.

And before you simply jump to a question you say: “Excuse me “!

A more easy one and an easier one is:

Sorry/Excuse me.
Извините
Izvyneetye

Another one is:

Sorry/Pardon
Простите
Prasteetye

2.2

Choose whichever one you want and then you go on to address them formally.
Then if you know how to be formal with them always address a stranger
Formally.

When you compare :

Вы[vy]= You[formal singular/plural]
Ты[Ty]= You[informal sing]

Извините= Excuse me[formal sing./plural] [Izvyneetye ]

Извини= Excuse me/sorry[informal. Sing][Izvynee ]

If you know how to be formal do so. If do not know, you can always look
up formal versus informal in Russian somewhere on you tube or in Google and you'll find all the articles all the videos for that as well. So make sure to address a
stranger formally.

Strangers in Russian or German: You Must use the formal form VIY / SIE
Calling them tiy / du is at best awkward at worst, really fucking rude.
Don't be rude. XD

But which words we need to use if we need serious help? For example, someone's been injured/accident and we need to tell people HELP ME/US !!, or in a fire or something like that.

easiest way to remember is:
"prostite, nuzhen pomozh" = forgive me, I need help.
they will hear your accent, note you were polite, and actuall go out of their way to help you. try not to grin like an idiot.
