Rise and fall of Swordburst 2

I've played Swordburst 2 since the beta and I was given a aura and a ruby edge dagger and even today i still enjoy hopping on the game time after time to play and remember about the past when i was younger playing this game. Swordburst 2 will always have a place in my heart.

I remember joining the game for the first time and they're were people everywhere and this was when level 40 was the max level

I remember getting absolutely destroyed by the bears on floor 1

I remember how long it took to navigate through the maze and trying to dodge the traps that sometimes didn't work

I remember that lever that you used to pull to open the boss door

I remember on floor 2 when someone showed me a easier and quicker way to the dungeon by scaling a wall, walking through walls, and skipping a big portion of the floor to get to the dungeon

I remember going into floor 2 dungeon and meeting up with this group of players who were also trying to find their way through the maze with some guy leading the group with a blue katana and seeing him use a sword skill for the first time and getting so excited when I was high enough level to unlock the sword skill

I remember floor 3 when I use to lure and run to a ledge that the snowmen couldn't get up on and kill them

I remember when some told and showed me the secret item orb crystal thing that used to be right next to the stairs in the dungeon on floor 3

I remember running around not knowing what to do on floor 4 and just barely making it to the boss room

I remember farming him with some people when he used to get stuck on the stairs and we farmed him while on the stairs and for some reason I took a picture of me and some guy who was with me there, I kinda like it, kinda wholesome to me. I hope you're still out there. quashiGAMING79

I remember being overwhelmed about the amount of mobs surrounding me on floor 5 and getting excited when someone showed me the new legendary hammers

I remember on floor 6 getting the titan armor and thinking I was invincible

I remember when I would die so much on floor 7 and somehow I got Durendal on my first few kills of the boss and act dumb by asking people if it was good and them telling me it was the rarest item in the game

I remember sitting down ready to jump on swordburst 2 and seeing that floor 8 was released and getting so happy that I yelled "YESSSS FLOOR 8 IS OUT!!!!"

I remember admiring how awesome and pretty and beautiful floor 8 was and then being mauled by the grasshoppers and everything else on that floor

I remember first figuring out the speed glitch and how much easier it was to get to places now

I remember someone showing the legendary katana Valikaze and really wanting it myself

I remember when the boss used to get stuck on that little ledge at the door and we used the farm him there and I think that also when I first someone with a beta dagger, I don't remember when I first saw someone use a beta aura

I remember wanting the polychrome Dimension aura and somehow getting the legendary cosmic flow aura so I just traded someone the cosmic for the polychrome 

I remember floor 9 and barely standing a chance against anything on the floor and taking to long to get to the boss

I remember floor 10 and not being able to kill anything on that floor

I remember thinking floor 10 was the end and the game was dying and barely playing it anymore

I remember paying someone Robux to give me max legendaries

I remember thinking this was it. it was over

I remember getting new hope and nostalgia when floor 11 was released

I remember everyone running to the floor 10 boss to kill it and get to the next floor

I remember everyone flushing out of the spawning thing and running all around floor 11

I remember being amazed by how big floor 11 was and that it ended with the miniboss's and wanting oathkepper and the new summon pistol skill and how there would be so many people farming at either the red or blue miniboss

I remember being shocked that floor 11 dungeon being released after 2 years of that sign on the building next to spawn saying "dungeon coming soon"

I remember being also shocked that floor 12 came out and just finding out that it was already out for 2 weeks

I love this game it was part of my childhood and im happy that im still playing it after all these years, I bet if I showed my past self all the new stuff and floors in the game I bet it would blow his mind

Its sad that the golden era is gone and those days are in the past but I hope that one day the creators would come back or a lots of new creators will come and bring that spark back into the game and it will be even more awesome and popular than it was before maybe a diamond era. I have faith in this game and its people in my opinion this is the best game to ever exist on Roblox

Amazing vid, its really incredible how far everything has progressed in the past years when you stop to look back on everything that has happened, and we still have more planned for the community :) (and this time it will be done right)

I’ve only played SB2 since Free Release and only played for 5 Years (2017-2022) and I still care about this game even tho the endpoint almost hits me right now but at least this one of the best grindy games Ive played ❤

This game has given me so much good memories. It was one of my first played games. It immediately became my favorite game on roblox. This game was so damn fun to play. I played this for hours. I was even able to get some limiteds. But after the updates of increasing the level of items, I stopped playing. I came back after they finished floor 11. Although I have quit Swordburst 2, it still has its place in my heart. As it carried me forward into Roblox. RIP Swordburst 2, the memories of many.

Loved SB2, I played a shit ton during floor 8 and 9. I had two of every aura in the game and multiple of all the legendaries. I was so into trading back in the day. Sadly, I quit shortly after floor 10's release. Thankfully, I was able to sell off all my items for a good amount of money so all my efforts weren't in vain.

Swordburst was my childhood game since I was a little kid. I remember doing the Incredibles 2 event. So sad to see it fall like this

great video my dude. i remember playing back during winter of 2017. as a solo player, the only way i could get to higher floors was if i joined the right lobby and found a huge group that could defeat the boss, good times.

This game was my roblox childhood basically. Had an amazing time from a basic playe, to a competitive pvper and fighting in guild wars, and finally ending it off as a in game moderator for a short while. Trading was amazing it taught me a lot of skills.

The game was just so immersive for me, i played before watching sao and it took me a week to figure out the monsters got bigger as you went deeper into the world, let alone things like the boss room and what not

Whats funny for me is that, I played this game and loved this game years before watching the anime it was based off of and I absolutely love the anime as well, was a good ride, and hopefully more games like this will get released in the future

10:05 it’s true, there really wasn’t much to say anymore, BGM planned on making a game (and still is) but with sb3s release we shall see what happens
