Ive read that in the ancient layer of Skara Brae they have found evidence of a RARE form of ancient cultivated barley that has 6 rows of seeds per stalk instead of just the normal 2 rows. This barley is superior, & unique. Up till now this 'super 6 barley' has not been found outside its native environment, the fertile crescent...

Proto celts came from North of France and Belgium(wich was much bigger then it is today). Later came another wave from Belgian Celtic people, their language is related to southern Brythonic. And then there was a further evolution of course. Belgian Celtic people from the tribe of the Nerviërs, Atrebates and Morini crossed the channel. Belgian had 12 Belgian Celtic tribes. They lived in south-east England and moved further to central and soutern central England when the Angles and the Saxons came. Winchester has been founded by those Belgian Celts. 9 procent of those people in those area has 9 procent DNA from thos Belgian Celts.

400 40 foot deep mines?
stones weighing tons?
Those display of corpses could have been a warning.

Interesting how the genetic evidence has changed since this series. No, the average Briton now has not got up to 40% of middle east origin. The average English person has approximately 40% Indo European, 40% Early European Farmer and 20% Western Hunter Gatherer. The 40% EEF is made up from Natufians of the Levant mixing with WHG. The EEF then mixed with even more WHG the further west and north they spread. EEF come from Anatolia.

This is pathetic compared to the Dimbleby series of the same name. Apart from anything, her voice is horrible.

Excuse me you cannot tell me that a mediaeval bow which is at the Pinnacle of bow and arrow technology cannot fire into a pig's skin and on that basis I will not be watching the remainder of This documentary good day
