I think that the forbidden 5 might have mind control over jay now, or to an extent. to elaborate when Rox used her magic on the wolf masks they all obeyed her, even cinder started fighting with the wolf masks against lord Raz, so they might have been controlling cinder becuase he used a mask, and if they could control cinder then they can control jay as well
