That was really intense, knowing that in reality the rover had already either crashed or landed, but because of time delay we're still watching the past, in like a 12m delay

For those of you saying fake, its clearly not. The visual effects they use isnt for entertainment, its for readings and stats, and also using cameras to update everyone on earth will create a lot more delaly considering an already existing 12 mins of delay just sending location info. And please go read more.

Es un evento único que se da pocas veces así que lo vi en vivo y lo disfruté mucho
Ojalá que estos 5 años que vienen sean épicos a nivel misiones espaciales

First thing the camera sees on touch down is a curious lil green alien being peering into it. 😏

51 years ago I listened on a small "transistor radio" to my fellow Americans walking on the moon while in my camp deep in the wilderness of the High Sierra, at a lake named "Toejam, " not far from Yosemite. This Mars landing has the same wonderful 'feel' to it, just without the mamma bear and cub on the ridge looking down at us, and without the porcupine in the tree above dropping pine cones on my tent. Sorry Mars, we already found Paradise, it's called Earth, we just need to keep it.

read something about how they were within 35m of their intended or ideal target and all I could think was "wow! incredible!"

Like taking an interplanetary jumpshot and coming hitting within that range of the basket is phenomenal. Excellent work all around!
