I SWITCHED from BA to American Airlines FLAGSHIP BUSINESS - right choice? LHR - DFW AA Review

In February 2023, I went on a trip with Steve to US for the Mardi Gras in New Orleans, followed by a cruise on Symphony of the Seas from Miami.

Our original flight was a direct non-stop flight on BA to New Orleans. When BA reduced the flight frequencies for the route from 5 a week to 3 a week, our original flight was cancelled.

This gave us the chance to rebook, and we chose to fly via Dallas Fort Worth on American Airlines. This allowed us the opportunity to try the AA Flagship Business product on their Boeing 777-300ER.

Did we make the right choice to switch to fly on AA? Check out this video to find out.

I'd say these seats on the 77W are more comfortable because the TV and tray table aren't obstructing your knees when sleeping. These seats may be older but they surely are comfortable.

I find that British Airways food & service is three times as good as American Airlines. The food on AA is embarrassing. The service is curt and abrupt at best, whereas I always find BA to be so polite, friendly and helpful.

Well I have just flown back from Miami April 25th on American business class on the 777-300, seat wise great space great entertainment good food terrible service very poor, Toilets just like the normal commercial flight nothing special at all, My B&O head phones where broken, didn’t bother to tell them as I was going to sleep most the way which I did, I flew out to Miami with British Airways on the 380 double decker business class, what a difference in service food, toilets so much bigger, Felt I got more for my money left the plane a happy customer, With America left the plane thinking I won’t fly American again

@ 2.29 I'm pretty sure she said 30, 000 feet. 13, 000 would be awfully low for a transatlantic flight.

Also, another thing to note: BA charges for advance seat selection in business; AA does not.

The absolute worst. My lay flat Seat from Phoenix to London was broken. AAvgave me a 400 dollar travel voucher as compensation. Pathetic
