The story behind this organ piece is rather interesting tbh.
The instrument is located in Halberstadt and is modeled after an infamous organ that may or may not have actually existed. There are documents describing its massive size which, at the time (built in 1361, expanded in 1495) would have probably made it the largest pipe organ in the world. Including a 31' long pipe, three manuals with each key being roughly 6cm wide ... but those descriptions date from 1619, and the organ itself was most likely not even playable at that point, possibly being destroyed in 1685.
All we have are the writings and drawings of Michael Praetorious, no piece of the actual instrument was ever found.
