looks amazing Matt. Definitely riding early is better for sure... or really really late, which is harder for you but looks like you did some night riding in this clip as well.... liking the drone footage and music as well.. around 10 min in. I find it hard to get going early, though it is always a good idea. At least you aren't in a group of people, looks like a great ride with some cool connections being made. Another great video. I've noticed you pronounce the country 'Lao' while others pronounce it 'Laos' [Lowse]. How do the locals pronounce their country?

The dry season just finished in SE Asia. Thailand and Cambodia won't be much different. It's getting really hot from now on. So expect more tropical temperatures without much rain.

I don’t know if you change the back of your trike. But if your going at 500 am keep your light on. Because from behind 95% is all black the two small case on the side the back all black as is the large side way suitcase all black, the road is all black. Drivers have to go around you. And many have sleepy eyes been drinking late that night. Maybe a bit of orange or the construction brite green? Added? Can’t be Overdone . Hospital bills could wipe you out and that a catch 22. It’s all about seen & outsmarting the odds. Other than I don’t know how you can keep the drone flying even behind schedule .well done.

Recommend to visit Vang Vieng 150 KM. before Vientiane. After that If you have more time take a left at PhoneHong to NAM NGUM Dam the route is less traffic and better view.
