"No one complained" Here in ATL the TSA workers at the airport were protesting by working (for free) slower than usual causing 3 hr delays and thousands of people to miss their flights but "nobody complained"

Federal workers were suffering because of the shutdown yet Trump said no one was complaining.I feel like Trump always talks without thinking because the shutdown DID affect families who depend on their paychecks for food and their rent.I just pray this doesn't happen again

I have no issues with stepping security up at our border all over the the US (FYI I’m Cuban that came here legally) but I do believe that we owe our hard working government employees the right to a paycheck during a shutdown. You can’t expect them to go to work and not get paid, not only is it not fair but very sad and a disgrace when you have top officials still receiving their paychecks. I hope we all can come to an agreement that will help all government employee and their families.
