I have been watching your Cal videos for 2 years as an aspiring student, slowly chipping away at my reqs and just got accepted 3 days ago. Dreams sometimes do come true!

Berkeley also has grade deflation. Bio has the worst on average, at B- but I once had an Econ professor that curved to C+.
Also, there are 35, 000+ students but only one gym.
Also also, there is no housing post-freshman unless you can afford to pay $2, 000 for a shoebox.
Also also also, there is a lot of crime, mostly homeless. 13:10 And those classes only get offered ONCE per YEAR

Very good video. I agree on the "competition" point. In econ and in stat, the classes were tough, so we were competing with ourselves to do our best. But we always worked together and supported each other. Surviving the grind together was part of the experience. The time has come. Graduation is this week, ain't it? Them honors cords look pretty cool, don't they? =)

What are your thoughts on MET program at UCBerkeley?? Do they get any preference for housing?

I'm a community college student and one of my buddies is going to Berkeley next year. I'm likely going to be staying in community college for a couple of years, but I'm considering what schools I want to transfer to. I especially want a school where I'll get personal attention, as I have autism and other disabilities that impact my independent living and academic skills. Is Berkeley good with individualized attention despite being a big school? Keep in mind I can't afford private school as my family is kind of in the in-between space of being too rich for financial aid but too poor to comfortably pay off the expenses of private school tuition.
