Vivo V40 Pro Review | A Stunning Upgrade!

Reviewing the Vivo V40 Pro global smartphone, one of the best of 2024 for battery life, with upgrades to the gaming performance and camera vs the V30 series. The Vivo V40 Pro has been a joy to use this past week, proving smooth and stress free. Here's hoping it comes to the UK, rather than only being available on import!

That camera setup is once again a collab with Zeiss, now with Sony's IMX921 sensor for the main shooter. You've also got a Portrait sensor, using the IMX816 - which allows you to get crisp shots of your fam with the Vivo V40 Pro from a distance. Overall it's a solid arrangement, although low light shooting can suffer and there are too many filter options/modes.

In addition, the battery life is absolutely ridiculous. The Vivo V40 Pro can last for two days fairly comfortably on a single charge, with 80W charging when you're running low. Performance has also been upgraded vs the V30 Pro, with a fresher Dimensity chipset meaning smooth gaming.

Besides that, the Vivo V40 Pro offers most of the same features seen on the previous generation. Not too shocking as it's only been six months!

Seeing shopee and lazada on it makes me think that this phone would be released in most of southeast asia as those two are the most popular shopping sites here. Which also shocked me seeing those apps on a phone launched in Europe hahahha.

I own Vivo x100 pro since the launch... Apart from some extraordinarily featured OS, I am happy with every aspect of this device...
Top notch Camera with magical touch by Zeiss... Steel frame, separate image processing chip, LTPO Panel, descent battery performance, 120 wt charging, and the cost makes it a damn good deal...

In X series Zeiss picked up the legacy of Lumia from where they left back in 2013-14... And trust me most of the double cost flagships are not anywhere around in terms of quality n features that it offers...

6 months is kinda overkill for phone releases. Vivo phones have crazy battery tech by the way, I think its Carbon Silicon battery. My IQOO 12 is so hard to kill. Just keeps going and going!! 💪

Well i still using Vivo V9 which is 5 years old now. But still working fine.. the screen doesn't stick to the phone anymore due to hot weather here in Malaysia But yeah.. vivo phone quality is pretty good actually..👍
