Man, I would be sweatin just thinking about taking a brand new Audi up those rocky roads. I highly respect your courage and all the hard work you put in these videos. Much appreciated!

This version of A6 allroad uses Quattro Ultra system. Front and rear diffs are open. Gearing (dog clutch) in the rear is used for connecting the driveshaft with the diff. Electromechanical multiplate clutch-pack at front is responsible for torque transfer. Entire system was originally developed by Magna Powertrain, it consists of Flex4 coupling at front & Flex4 disconnect system (Flex4 Fast Reconnect + open diff) at rear.

I bought a 2020 CPO in January and love it. In addition to everything mentioned here, I get 36+ MPG on the highway at 75mph, and have averaged 28+ MPG overall. Not bad for a vehicle this fast, luxurious, capable, and roomy (it can fit 42 cases of wine)!

Ryan, I roll out the welcome wagon to welcome this wagon to your channel. Why does EVERY car market in the world recognize the virtue, practicality, efficiency, adaptability and desirability of wagons, every market but the USA 🤨🤨 Of the wagons that have featured on your channel lately, I rate the Allroad and Outback just behind the SENSATIONAL and STUNNING Toyota Fielder you were driving in Kenya 🤩🤩🤩🤩👏👏👏👏

That glare was horrible! I’m glad that showed. I’m a huge Audi fan and love a wagon but good lord. It was so bright at times.

I agree that more clearance would help but let’s be honest. Old people going to Colorado and Vermont ski slopes are about the most off roading this thing will see.

For hill descend mode, you set the speed with your foot. Accelerate/brake to the desired speed and the car maintains that speed.

So happy this is available in the states as well. I would go with this vs other Audi products like their SUV lineup. It's something a bit more unique than all the crossovers that litter our roads

Oh yeah baby.. This is right up my alley.. Owner/lover of Audi since the 80s .. Speaking of the allroad, I used to own a few Ur allroads, with the Biturbo engine. Current A4 2.0 allroad owner.

Finally, someone showing how the audi 4 system works...as I wrote on another beautiful channel (Car Questions), when subaru is still spinning, audi's already gone...electronics is definitely faster in doing what it is required to do...nice job

Couldn't click on this quick enough. I look forward to seeing the vid
After watching the video I think we both aligned on the beauty and performance of the vehicle. The price point after today's dealer markups plus just trying to find one within 400 miles proved daughting so I stuck with my 100k 2013 outback 3.6r for now.

I was all in on this car until i saw touch controls only, i'm fine with touch controls, but there needs to be physical buttons and knobs, you can save space by making them contextual, like using the same buttons for aircon, media, navigation ect

In California we have these amazing things called 'sun-glasses' for driving. They are like ... glass ... and they also block the sun!

This is probably the first video I've watched of you without a cap on lol. Still an amazing video though.

This car deos not have a torsen based mechanical "Quattro" but "Quattro Ultra" which is a non permanent all wheel drive system that connects and disconnects the rear shaft via a clutch. I would have expected Audi to put their torsen based permanent all wheel drive system into this car !

Can't wait to pick up one of these in a couple years as I start growing out of my Outback.

Holy cow, hearing the MSRP on that thing almost took my breath away! That's a hefty sum, though I guess par for the course these days.

the b8 a4 seemed to have more body and tire clearance than newer models.. it would definitely benefit more from specifically designed bumpers than anything else, more departure and approach

Considering this car for long term use but I'm kinda unsure how well the air suspension will hold up.
