Volkswagen Hover Car With Magnetic Levitation Design - Whoa

The Volkswagen Hover Car navigates the streets with electromagnetic roads. It’s a concept vehicle generated when German auto-manufacturer VW crowd sourced futuristic car designs with a competition in China. Without specialized roads the hover car won’t float but with the infrastructure in place it could work.

They created a pretty realistic video of what the hover car would look like in action. VW received 119,000 ideas for the project.

The floating car concept in the project has automatic doors, seats 2 people comfortably, is controlled with a joystick, and looks like it has a plasma screen display on the front window for an augmented reality display. It moves as fast with other cars. It’s probably autonomous. It would be great for a base on Mars.

It was the Peoples Car Project, new ways to mobilize the people of China, the Volkswagen Maglev Car.

Theoretically it would be incredibly energy efficient. With an electric motor the 2 seater flying car would create an opposite force of magnetic levitation and use ionic thrusters for propulsion.

Yeah it looks cool but it's not really built and Technology isn't there yet we don't have it and the roads would cost a fortune cuz they have to tear them all up and redo all the roads again that would take decades to do all around the world
